I am just a simple human, trying to understand the world around me and my place in it.

I love God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.

I was raised in the Disciples of Christ church, but God is leading me beyond what I’ve always known.  I joined the Traditional Catholic faith on February 18, 2017.

I am married with two kids.

I have a job to do, and bills to pay, and dinner to make, and errands to run.  And adventures to have!

I don’t know all the answers.

But I do think there is a plan.  A purpose.  A guided path for each of us.

I’m simply documenting the pieces of my path that I have uncovered so far.

I bet I’m wrong about some of it…and right about some of it.  And I bet I change my mind.  A lot.

But I’m super excited to lay out all the puzzle pieces and see what is there.  I know it will be amazing!

  1. Thank you so much for this post. I am currently experiencing many life-changing events such as yours and in rapid succession. My husband is a college baseball coach and we have 3 daughters. Courtney,10, Sydney, 8, and Sarah, 11 weeks. We just moved to a larger house to accommodate our growing family and the change at times can be overwhelming. I have always been a Christian but about 3 years ago truly gave my life to Christ and it changed my entire perspective. There are times for sure that the struggle is real but I am learning to lean into His word as well as just talk to him often
    Your post was fun to read and I enjoyed the realness of the struggle.
    Thank you for being so transparent. Looking forward to following from now on.
