Hurricane Milton seems intent on barreling through our lives.
I hear concerned voices asking about our plans, wondering how to help, what to offer. It so naturally rolls off the tongue, “we’re praying for you!”
Truly, please do. There is nothing more helpful you can do than to deeply pray for someone. And I mean that word for even more literally than usual. I have to focus on preparations and planning here, but it is not the time to drop out of constant prayer. Please do pick up my prayers for me and help me carry them and lift them to heaven while my mind and body are pulled in multiple directions. Knowing that my first priority of prayer is not all on my shoulders is a huge relief and allows me to stay calm and focused as my own prayers manifest into actions.
And I mean that word deeply even more literally than usual. To pray deeply is not hard, but it must be intentional. It must form a personal connection. God has provided just such a connection, and if you are going to pray for me, I beg you for this one simple prayer.
The Rosary.
The Rosary deeply focuses on the culminating moment of Christ coming to save us.
When the world was at its darkest, an Angel came to Mary and said, “Hail, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.” And Mary agreed to the Savior coming through her to be shared with the rest of humanity.
I have spent nearly a decade researching and practicing this type of prayer.
There is no faster way to get His attention, even if He seems asleep in the storm. “Hail Mary.”
There is no more effective way to tie us all together across space and time and distance and circumstances than to all go to Jesus through the same way He came to us. “Hail Mary.”
It is based in Scripture, it is deeply rooted in Tradition, it is repeatedly proven throughout all of Eternity. “Hail Mary.”
Even if you do not typically pray the Rosary, you are capable of it. (Instructional beginner video; follow along without instruction)
Even if you do not feel ready to approach the entire Rosary, if you are truly praying for me and my family to be safe from this storm and any storm, all it takes is a whisper of two words, “Hail Mary,” and He will know what I mean through you.
Safety has a deeper meaning than we typically allow ourselves to ponder. Pray confidently in this – He has never denied His Mother’s requests.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Much love and prayers. Iām so worried about all of you.šā¤ļøšā¤ļø

Oh my dear one. I pray for you every day but all of your names have been spoken over the last few days many times. May God protect you all as well as those who are recovering from the last one. I am so worried about all of you in all your locations. God keep you safe.
